A belated post

My mom's birthday was yesterday. It's been a bit of a crazy week but we celebrated a few different times in between all the chaos and sad news.

Karla's mom passed away Tuesday evening. We went to the visitation at the funeral home yesterday afternoon in Albert County. Visiting a funeral home on your mother's birthday is not ideal but it sure makes you appreciate all that you have. I know Karla appreciated having us there.
